APM represents an exciting opportunity for those who are keen to learn from industry practitioners in a compressed time frame. With our renowned internship program, our qualifications will give you the best chance of securing your dream job.
The Diploma qualification is a vocational course. This means that the focus is on skill-based learning and there are more hours spent doing practical, ‘hands-on’ tasks. Entry into these courses is typically interview and/or experience based (less related to UAI).
If you are working and time poor, APM’s Diploma is a brilliant option for you. With consistent effort, we can accelerate students through this credible, nationally recognised qualifications.
Diploma students have to be able to commit to a study load that at a minimum consists of:
- Face-to-face lecturers 2 nights per week with some Saturday workshops.
- Readings from support texts
- Assessments for each subject.
As a general rule, the total amount of study time that part-time students need to dedicate to completing their Diploma is to consider the face-to-face hours and double that figure.
Entry into APM’s Diploma of Marketing (BSB51207) is based on work experience and maturity. For those who have completed HSC, APM also requires at least 1 years work experience. For those who have not completed HSC then APM requires at least 2 years work experience. Having work experience raises the bar for the entire class as class discussions can centre on things that you have experienced in the workplace. Previous work experience does not necessarily need to be within the field that students are intending to study.
